Electric Posh
A Duo formed by Aldo Bassi (trumpet and multi-effects) and Luca Nostro (electric guitar, electronics & loops), two refined musicians and composers whose work is characterized by an unflagging music research aiming to new and up-to-date formal and stylistic solutions.
Born in 2012, the Duo distinguishes itself for a sound veering toward rock music, but not for this lacking references to a virtuosity that has its roots in jazz music. The repertoire includes both original pieces signed by the Duo and great rock music classics revisited (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin).
For Aldo Bassi this partnership in the Duo coincides with a phase of his creative evolution drawing him to the exploration of a new way of looking at jazz music, seeing it as a new universal language in a possible global village where it continues to break new ground. Luca Nostro, in addition to having had important collaborations in Europe and U.S. (New York), at present is a permanent member of the prestigious PMJO (Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra).
